 MedMen Undertakes Largest Cannabis Acquisition In US History

MedMens network now holds cannabis licenses in 12 states; the combined companies will operate 79 facilities.
Can you say MedMen Monopoly? The companys already overly large footprint in the cannabis industry just outdid Big Foot with its acquisition of Illinois-based Pharmacann in a $682 million all-stock transaction. MedMen facilities can now be accessed in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, and Michigan and of course its home base California. MedMen currently has 14 high-end stores in California, Nevada, and New York.  Analysis: Michigan legalization measure would generate $520 million in new tax revenue over five years
A recent study of the potential fiscal impacts of legalizing marijuana in Michigan found that passage of Prop 1 would generate over half a billion dollars in additional revenue for the state in the first five years of implementation. One to shield federal employees from being fired for state-legal marijuana Fairness in Federal Drug Testing Under State Laws Act use got two new cosponsors, for a total of seven.
