Trump Administration Secretly Plotting New War Of Words On Marijuana Policy

Shadowy Marijuana Policy Coordination Committee Seeks To Derail Past, Future Legislative Reforms
The White House has secretly amassed a committee of federal agencies from across the government to combat public support for marijuana and cast state legalization measures in a negative light, while attempting to portray the drug as a national threat. In response to this revelation, NORML Political Director Justin Strekal said: These are the death rattles of marijuana prohibition. Those who seek to maintain the oppressive policies of cannabis criminalization are grasping at straws in their effort to undo the public policy progresses that have now been enacted in a majori....

Too much of a good thing in Oregon as cannabis businesses adapt to flooded market

Bart Schaneman
Theres one major pain point for Oregon marijuana business owners that eclipses all others: a supply glut caused by too much cannabis and insufficient demand.  Denver prosecutors hone in on cannabis company Sweet Leafs top brass, owners

Jeff Smith
Prosecutors dismissed the last of the charges against budtenders of the once high-flying Colorado marijuana retailer Sweet Leaf but said Monday the companys management and co-owners remain under investigation and that more criminal charges likely will emerge. While the budtenders were the point of sale in the distribution and possession of illegal amounts of marijuana, the larger scheme involving Sweet Leaf remains under investigation and is being considered by the Denver grand jury, Ken Lane, spokesman for the Denver District Attorneys Office, wrote in an email to Marijua....
