CCIA was formed to unite the cannabis industry in California and to allow it to speak with one voice at the state and local levels. We strive to educate and act as a resource to lawmakers regarding all areas of the cannabis industry. We are also dedicated to addressing issues related to driving under the influence, unlawful diversion to minors, and substance abuse.
What we are working on for the industry right now:- Create a State Regulatory Structure for Californias Medical Cannabis IndustryThe California State legislature is going to try and pass regulations for the medical marijuana industry this coming legislative session. With an organized voice we had a good presence at the Capitol and were able to be very influential this last legislative cycle. With a strong organized voice our industry will be able to ensure that we have fair and sensible regulations. - Business NetworkingCCIA hosts legislative updates and other networking events that allow you to connect with other like-minded business professional in the industry. This year we also will be hosting business workshops and symposiums; which will allow you promote your company and grow your customer base. - Industry ProfessionalizationCCIA is actively working with our members to help them professionalize and find solutions to business issues that Californias cannabisSPAC
